The two shots below were offered up to the guys on IRC for appraisal and advice and the consensus was that the top picture lacked a human element and the second picture was cluttered with too much human element. |

Sonny Carter disappeared for thirty minutes or so and when he returned posted the picture shown underneath. I would have liked to use the picture as my own but felt that although I supplied the ingredients the “Master Chef” was Sonny Carter. The broader question is how far can one go before an image becomes far enough removed from the original to no longer deserve the title photograph? Does this sort of thing have any place on a photography forum or should it be confined to.......what? |
