Gouache is a water-based mostly paint consisting of pigment and other materials designed to be used in an opaque portray method. Gouache differs from watercolor in that the particles are bigger, the ratio of pigment to water is much larger, and an extra, inert, white pigment such as chalk can also be current. This makes gouache heavier and extra opaque, with larger reflective qualities.
